 On October 29, 2020, America On Tech joined twelve Capital One employees for an evening of conversation and networking. Beginning with a panel discussion about professional development and breaking into the technology field, students and volunteers were then broken into small groups to discuss further. Before closing out the event, all participants returned to the main session for final reflections. Capital One is an American bank holding company with a suite of technology-aligned careers of interest to our students.

America On Tech & Mizuho Host Virtual Career Day in NYC as part of Mizuho’s Annual Volunteer Day!11/11/2020  On October 28, 2020, fourteen employees from Mizuho joined our NYC Tech Flex Leaders for an evening of Virtual Speed Networking! Mizuho is a leading financial institution with whom we have had the pleasure of working with over the past year to support our students’ professional growth.
 FactSet is a financial data and software company specializing in flexible, open data and software solutions. America On Tech is proud to partner with FactSet and values their support of our programs in NYC as well as in Los Angeles. This October, we hosted TWO Virtual Career Days with FactSet for our students on both coasts. During both events, students networked with technology professionals while learning what they can do to set themselves up for career success.
