America On Tech's Summer 2021 Internship Program Kicks Off

Our first-ever summer 2021 virtual internship program kicked off earlier this month! This summer we have placed 86 students in paid internships with 55 employers in our network  57% of students identify as women or gender non-conforming and 97% of students identify as Black, Indigenous, People of Color.

Prior to the launch, all of our intern placements participated in our Internship Bootcamps to ensure they were fully prepared for their internships. This 3-day bootcamp focused on professional and technical skills, and hosted a series of panels and presentations for the students. Each of these panels and presentations leveraged industry professionals including Google, Capital One, and Panorama Education.
