 On April 29, 2021, America On Tech joined forces with Mastercard to host our last Career Day in NYC for our Tech Flex Leaders program! Mastercard is well known for being one of the strongest payment network processing companies in the world. While famous for its financial services and credit cards, Mastercard also plays a number of roles in technology in various areas around the globe. During this Career Day, 20 Tech Flex Leaders were joined by 9 Mastercard professionals to engage in a panel discussion where our leaders got insight into the industry and its vast number of roles. Our students received answers from different backgrounds and expertise, from product management to cyber security. They also received the opportunity to engage in networking rounds with the professionals to further dive into best practices and advice for their upcoming careers. Our students expressed nothing but appreciation for our friends at Mastercard, claiming the insight they received was extremely helpful in preparing them for a potential role in the tech world.
