America On Tech and GameChanger join forces to host Virtual Career Day for NYC Tech Flex Leaders!

On April 21, 2021, America On Tech partnered with GameChanger to host one of our final career days of the spring semester for our Tech Flex Leaders in NYC.  GameChanger is a technology company that is committed to creating simple yet powerful tools for youth sports teams and their communities. You can record stats, important events, and even livestream games all from their app!

During this Career Day, 20 Tech Flex Leaders were joined by 12 GameChanger professionals for a panel discussion and multiple rounds of speed networking. With such a large number of volunteers present for the panel discussion, our Tech Flex Leaders were able to learn about a wide range of different backgrounds and tech career pathways. From product management to principal software engineering, the Tech Flex Leaders learned about several areas of technology and how they interact to ensure a strong technology company.

Our students expressed nothing but appreciation for the GameChanger volunteers, claiming the insight they received was extremely helpful in preparing them for a potential role in the tech world.
