 On April 6th, 2021, America On Tech teamed up with FactSet to help host a career day for our Spring Tech Flex Leaders program! FactSet is a global financial data and software company that provides integrated data and software solutions for tens of thousands of investment professionals across the globe. America On Tech is proud to have partnered with FactSet for several years and is so grateful for their support of our students on both coasts! This career day showcased 19 of our Tech Flex leaders, who were guided through an exploration of multiple areas of technology by 10 amazing individuals from FactSet, including members of FactSet’s Latinx BRG. The event started off with a panel discussion where our students were able to gain insight into what it is like to be a FactSet employee. They also received advice and tips to help prepare them for a career in technology across multiple disciplines. Following the discussion, both parties engaged in a speed networking session where the students were able to dig into tips to ensure success within the technology ecosystem. Our Tech Flex Leaders were thrilled to be able to ask their questions in exchange for insights they will carry with them for the rest of their careers.
