Announcing Our 2020 - 2021 Peer Mentors!

We are thrilled to introduce our newest America On Tech leaders, our 2020-2021 Peer Mentors!  This Fall and Spring TWENTY FOUR Peer Mentors will be working virtually to support and help lead 4 Tech Flex Leaders cohorts and 8 TECH360 cohorts.

Our Peer Mentor Program hires our alumni and provides them with work experience and leadership skills.  Peer Mentors assist students in understanding the curriculum and they also mentor students in developing their technical and professional abilities.

The hiring process for Peer Mentors was extremely competitive this year. We had twice as many candidates as we had available positions, making this decision extremely difficult.  We are honored that so many of our alumni want to continue their journey with AOT! 

Our Peer Mentors range from high school to college students.  Given our shift to virtual programming, we have been able to leverage the skills of AOT alumni attending colleges and universities outside of NYC! You’ll see listed below students studying at schools across the country who are able to support us in our virtual classrooms while pursuing their technology degrees. This group of peer mentors represents the very best of AOT as they step up to mentor and lead the newest generation of AOT students and future technology leaders.
