Stan Smith serves as the National Director of Strategy at America On Tech (AOT), where he is responsible for the development, implementation, and communication of organizational strategies that advance AOT's mission to prepare the next generation of technology leaders. Stan oversees AOT's strategic plan, AI strategy, expansion, and communications.
Prior to AOT, Stan worked in development for various nonprofits including Rebuilding Together NYC, GENYOUth, and Youth INC. Stan also has private sector experience, having worked as an Assistant Vice President and equity trader at State Street Global Markets. Stan is a graduate of Morehouse College, where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. His commitment to service was shaped by his upbringing with parents who were actively engaged in civil rights and social work. From volunteering at a soup kitchen as a young child to organizing a book signing with Congressman John Lewis for NYC students, Stan has consistently sought opportunities to serve his community.
