Raylene began her career in education as a secondary English teacher in LA County. Her passion for education and equity stems from her experiences as an educator and as a Latina and first-generation college graduate. She holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) with a minor in Ethnic Studies from UC Riverside and a BA in English from CSU Long Beach. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, cooking, spending time outdoors with her dog, and exploring new restaurants and cafes.
