Rania Kalad
Program Manager

Rania’s love for education began in 2014 when she first started teaching students with autism as a TA. She was overwhelmed with the evident impact that she had as an educator of children with varying needs and decided to pursue a degree in elementary and special education.

Rania is passionate about providing opportunities and access to high-quality education for underestimated youth. Prior to AOT, her career was dedicated to education in urban settings, where she taught and mentored hundreds of students living in Newark, New Jersey.

Rania immigrated to Jersey City, New Jersey from Egypt in 1997, along with her brother and parents. She holds an MA in Education and a BA in Psychology from Rutgers University.

In her free time, Rania enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, working out, and traveling.
