Johanna began working with AOT as an HR Consultant in 2023 and came on full-time in 2024 as the Director of Finance & Operations. Originally from the Midwest, Johanna relocated to Miami as a Teach for America corps member. She worked with Miami YFC for 12 years, ending as the organization’s Chief People & Programs Officer. She volunteers as the Vice Chair of Homestead’s Together for Children Coalition and Director of Finances & Development at Branches UMC. Johanna holds a BA from Kenyon College and an MA from the University of Miami. She loves reading, making music, and enjoying Miami’s culture and amenities with her husband and kids.
