Elisabeth Aguilar Tech Skills Fellowships Program Manager
Elisabeth is an education specialist and has experience planning and executing programming for non-profit organizations centered around project-based learning. She wholeheartedly believes in Rousseau's philosophy of education which stresses that the foundation of learning should be the "wholeness" of the student and that experience is the best teacher.
With a BA and MA in French Language and Literature from Purdue University, Elisabeth began her career as a French teacher. She taught English in Paris, France at the Académie de Créteil and an undergraduate-level English seminar at the Université de Strasbourg in Strasbourg, France.
She lived in Mexico City, Mexico with her husband for three years and had the opportunity to teach English at Colegio Atid.
In her free time, Elisabeth likes to hike in national parks or be at the beach with her husband and two boys.
