 America On Tech’s Demo Day is a celebration of achievement that showcases and brings to life the projects of our students to an audience of fellow students, student families, and a greater community of business and technology professionals, passionate about creating pathways for the next generation of innovators. In August 2024, Mastercard sponsored and hosted two TECH360 Program Graduation and Demo Days in Miami and New York City. Below is a recap of each event.
 Miami Recap: On Tuesday August 13, 2024, Mastercard sponsored and hosted the Miami TECH360 Program graduation and demo day. A total of 148 students and family members joined us in Miami to celebrate the successful completion of our Summer TECH360 program. The event was hosted by Martine Deceus, Miami Program Director at America On Tech, and special remarks were given by Jessica Santana, CEO and Co-founder of AOT and Jina Braynon, Managing Director at Accenture and Chair of the AOT Miami Regional Advisory Board. The Alumni Keynote Speech was delivered by Salma Petrov, a Tech Flex Leaders alumni and TECH360 Peer Mentor.
 New York Program Recap: On Thursday, August 22, 2024, Mastercard sponsored and hosted the New York TECH360 Program graduation and demo day. A total of 100+ students and family members joined us in New York to celebrate the successful completion of our Summer TECH360 program. The event was hosted by Rania Kalad, NY Program Director at America On Tech, and special remarks were given by Evin Robinson, President and Co-founder of AOT and Ray Estevez, Principal Owner, Ray Estevez Advisory, and Chair of the AOT NY Regional Advisory Board. The Alumni Keynote Speech was delivered by Mikayle Despaigne. The evening culminated with students demos of their final projects to a live audience and panel of judges from Mastercard including:
After deliberation, the judges awarded the 1st Place Demo Day Winner to the Cycle 2 Cohort B Team (Client: StemBright). Team Members included: Cristopher Rojas, Daniella Darkwa, Deangelo Hunt, Fairooz Purna.
About TECH360:
The TECH360 Summer Bootcamp is an intensive, 3-week program where students learn how to code through web design and web development. Throughout the program students will learn industry-aligned technical and professional skills, gaining knowledge of key coding languages and frameworks including HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. During the final week of the program, students will put their knowledge to the test and work in teams to create and present a final website. Top teams from all program cohorts will compete during the end-of-summer Demo Day Competition.
