Building the Future of Tech Talent in Atlanta

Atlanta, GA – March 24, 2025 – America On Tech (AOT), a national nonprofit dedicated to preparing the next generation of technology leaders from underestimated communities, is proud to announce the formation of its Atlanta Regional Advisory Board. This marks a major milestone in AOT’s expansion efforts as the organization continues to build pathways for young people to enter the technology sector.

With Atlanta emerging as a thriving hub for technology and innovation, this new regional board will play a crucial role in strengthening partnerships, driving impact, and increasing access to tech education and career opportunities for local students.

Why Atlanta?

Atlanta is home to a fast-growing tech ecosystem, with major companies, startups, and investors fueling innovation. However, the opportunity gap in tech remains a significant challenge, particularly for students from underestimated communities. AOT is bridging this gap by providing high-quality, no-cost tech training, mentorship, and career development that leads to long-term economic mobility.

By launching this regional advisory board, AOT is committing to deepening relationships with local companies, community leaders, and educators to create sustainable career pathways for students.

Meet the Inaugural Atlanta Regional Advisory Board

AOT’s Atlanta Regional Advisory Board is composed of industry leaders, technology executives, and community advocates who are passionate about creating opportunities for the next generation of tech talent. This esteemed group will advise on local strategy, support fundraising efforts, and help connect students with transformative career opportunities.

AOT’s Impact & Vision for Atlanta
Since its founding in 2014, AOT has empowered over 5,000 students in New York City, Los Angeles, and Miami, providing them with technical training, mentorship, and paid internship opportunities with top tech companies.

With its expansion into Atlanta, AOT aims to:
✅ Enroll hundreds of local high school students in tech training programs like TECH360 and Tech Flex Leaders.
✅Launch partnerships with Atlanta-based tech companies to provide students with mentorship and internships.
✅ Engage community leaders and educators to ensure tech education is accessible and industry-aligned.
✅Support the economic growth of Atlanta’s tech sector by developing a pipeline of homegrown, diverse talent.

America On Tech (AOT) is a national nonprofit preparing the next generation of technology leaders from underestimated communities. AOT provides high-quality, no-cost tech education, skills development, and workforce readiness programs starting with high school youth in New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, and now Atlanta. The organization offers training in Web Development, Artificial Intelligence, UX Design, Product Management, Digital Marketing, Data Science, and Cybersecurity, connecting students with mentorship and career opportunities in the tech sector. Since its founding in 2014, AOT has served more than 5,000 students, facilitated over 1,000 internship placements, and helped students earn $4.1 million in wages through paid work-based learning experiences.
