New York, NY – February 25, 2025 – America On Tech (AOT), a national nonprofit preparing the next generation of technology leaders from underestimated communities, is thrilled to announce the formation of its AI Advisory Council. This dynamic assembly of AI pioneers and experts will play a pivotal role in integrating cutting-edge artificial intelligence into AOT's programs, ensuring students are equipped with the skills they need to thrive in the rapidly evolving tech workforce.

Bringing AI to the Classroom with TECH360
AOT’s flagship TECH360 summer high school program, historically a web development training initiative, is undergoing a major transformation: starting Summer 2025, TECH360 will now be an "Introduction to AI" course across New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, and Atlanta. This shift ensures that students from underestimated communities gain critical exposure to AI concepts, tools, and applications, positioning them for success in future tech careers.

The AI Advisory Council will continue to integrate AI training across all AOT programs over the next year, ensuring that AOT’s students gain industry-relevant AI skills that prepare them for internships, apprenticeships, and future career opportunities in technology.

Innovative AI Projects and Strategic Initiatives
In addition to curriculum transformation, the Council is spearheading several additional groundbreaking projects:
  • AI Frameworks and Policy - Developing a set of ethical AI guidelines to ensure fair and inclusive AI usage for America On Tech.
  • Operational Efficiency – Implementing various AI solutions to improve internal processes, data tracking, and organizational workflows.
  • Equity in AI – Educating the broader tech workforce ecosystem to ensure underestimated communities benefit from AI advancements.
