Mwape Trunell serves as Development Operations Manager for America On Tech, bringing extensive expertise in nonprofit operations, strategic partnerships, and program implementation to drive the organization's mission to prepare the next generation of technology leaders.
Her dedication to working with underestimated communities spans over a decade at organizations including the National Urban Fellows, The Council of Urban Professionals, Teaching Institute for Excellence in STEM (TIES) and others. Mwape also served as Business Operations Specialist at Places.NYC, honing skills in complex negotiations and resource management, and as Operations Manager at the Archdiocese of New York's Development Office.
A proud CUNY alum, Mwape holds an M.A. in International Studies from The CUNY Graduate Center, a B.A. in Political Science from Hunter College, and an A.S in Business Administration from LaGuardia Community College. Passionate about building lasting partnerships, she enjoys reading and cooking in her downtime.
