Janet is a proud South Central LA native and a first generation Latina who’s dedicated her life to creating real, lasting impact in the communities that shaped her. Growing up in a neighborhood often overlooked, she saw firsthand the gaps in resources - and the power that comes from community resilience. That experience lit a fire in her to be part of the solution.
Today she is committed to getting our young people the needed experiences and tools to achieve brighter and capable futures. Her work is deeply personal - every program she supports and every partnership she builds is rooted in a belief that everyone deserves a fair shot, no matter their zip code or background. Whether she’s collaborating with local leaders, mentoring young professionals, or building out initiatives that serve underrepresented communities, Janet brings heart, hustle, and a deep love for the city that raised her.
