Eve Perez-Torres Senior Attorney, Corporate Integrity & Compliance at FedEx
Eve was born and raised in Cartagena, Colombia; a coastal city on the Caribbean Sea. She became a lawyer in her home country Colombia in 2004. She served in different positions from Junior Attorney to General Counsel. After moving to the United States in 2012; Eve pursued her law degree at Florida International University College of Law graduating in 2019. During her career in the U.S., she has walked the broad spectrum of the legal work doing from international arbitration to corporate legal transactions. At FedEx, Eve provides contractual legal advice across multifunctional areas of the enterprise supporting international commercial transactions and international employment issues, providing focused trainings on compliance matters, managing outside counsel and helping create legal strategies in international disputes, and working on complex international projects. In her free time, Eve enjoys scuba diving, since in her words, it is the closer thing to flying, with her best experiences in Cozumel, Mexico, and Isla Roatan in Honduras.
