America On Tech Appoints Ukachi Anonyuo To Its Board Of Directors

America On Tech announced the appointment of Ukachi Anonyuo, Executive Director, Global Packaging Innovation Strategy & Portfolio Management at The Estée Lauder Companies, Inc., to its Board of Directors. ​
About Ukachi Anonyuo ​​
Ukachi’s role at the Estee Lauder Companies, Inc. is to identify, manage, support and track Packaging portfolio innovation sufficiency including emerging/growth opportunities to support upstream strategic corporate business initiatives that will result in effective, harmonized packaging solutions and launches for new products Enterprise wide for the company’s portfolio of ELC's 25+ Brands. 

Through cross-functional collaboration she harmonizes and executes launches for new innovative products contributing to a pipeline of brand innovation and actively participates in various corporate initiatives relating to strategy, sustainability and improved efficiency. As an additional initiative, Ukachi is an Employee Resource Group Ambassador,as well as Global Advisor & Co-Chair for the Women’s Leadership Network (WLN) at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., an employee resource group created to support, encourage, and engage women across the company to reach their full potential to emerge as true leaders both personally and professionally globally.

Ukachi was selected as an Innovator and Disruptor Award recipient in the Engineering category by America On Tech, a “40 under Forty” honoree by The Network Journal, and has been featured in several magazines and industry publications including Essence Magazine, The Network Journal, Cosmetic World and Beauty Packaging.

Ukachi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering as well as an MBA with a concentration in Marketing both from Rutgers University. In addition to currently serving on America On Tech’s Board of Directors, Ukachi has active experience serving on industry organizations including the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP) previously as Executive Board Member, EVP of Certification & Membership, and currently on the Rutgers University’s Advisory Board for both Design Thinking and Packaging Degree and Certification Programs, and the Cosmetic Industry of Buyers and Sellers (CIBS).  Ukachi values the importance of paying her efforts forward by volunteering her time to several organizations and initiatives including the Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) and her sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, among others. 

Why did you get involved with America On Tech?  “Growing up engineering was a career I was aware of but unaware of all the various career opportunities it could provide.  I want to be the voice that advocates for educational awareness and career paths in STEM both inside and outside of traditional technology companies.”

What legacy do you hope to leave as a Member of the Board?  “To create successful opportunities, experiences, and careers for students in unexpected and non-traditional industries and business functions so that they truly value  the agility of their skill set.”

What do you hope for the future success of America On Tech's students and programs? "For the programs to be considered the “Fame” or “Julliard” of Science & technology that builds the ultimate global pipeline of future leaders”.
