Andrea is a first-generation Miami native. She attended Florida International University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in International Relations with a focus in Latin American and Caribbean Studies. As an educator, she is passionate about advocating on behalf of students and is committed to bridging the equity gap in under-serviced communities. She has experience cultivating partnerships with schools and community-based organizations throughout South Florida to expand access to opportunities for minority students. In her free time, Andrea enjoys gardening, doing DIY projects and spending time with her family.
